Christian Healing Is Yours Today

Many times past, whenever I was seriously ill, I will always turn to the doctor for help. When the medicine failed and my condition made a turn for the worse, the LORD is my Comforter and Healer. He preserved my life.

I remembered almost twenty years ago when I was attacked by a flu virus. My fever shoot up to more than 41 degree Celsius after being sick for more than two weeks and I coughed so badly that I vomited blood. Pneumonia caught up with me but praise the LORD for keeping me conscious and sane. That fever could have burn up my brain cells and I could have become a mentally retarded person but I didn't. Praise the LORD forevermore! He is the Preserver of my life.

Although I ended up in the hospital for a week, I still gave thanks unto the LORD for preserving my brain and life.

These recent years I learn to turn to the bible verses for healing before I turn to any doctor. Our great God is our Creator and Great Physician. He knows the need of our body much more than anyone else. At times, my family and I experienced supernatural healing in our bodies when we are really ill.

Healing Scripture for Your Good Life and Excellent Health

Isaiah 53:4-5

Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows...and by His stripes we are healed.

Psalm 91:14-16

14 "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high because he has known My name. 15 He shall call upon Me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation."

Psalm 107:20

He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

1 Peter 3:10

For "He would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.

Romans 8:32

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Please pause a while with me and reflect on Romans 8:32, the LORD has freely given us all things. All things includes good health, prosperity, blessings and so much more! God is limitless! At times, it is our little mind that limits God as to what He can do.

Hence, it is so important to refrain our tongue from speaking evil (1 Peter 3:10). Like what my pastor said, if you are sick, do not say "I am coming down with fever." Instead, say, "I am coming down with healing! By Jesus' stripes, I am healed. I am not trying to be healed. I am already healed in Jesus' name! Amen!"
